STORY: OK, well if the gameplay isn't that good and the performance is "rocky", maybe the story is this game's saving grace? NOPE, it's actually laughable. This game is nowhere near graphically impressive enough to demand so much horse power from a graphics card like the 2070, and still deliver sub-par fps with constant frame drops. However, this game would constantly drop frames about every 5-10 seconds (even after lowering the resolution and running on medium settings!). I have a RTX 2070 8GB with an Intel I7 processor and can run games like Death Stranding at native 1440p, max settings, 60+ fps. PERFORMANCE: This game has some serious issues with performance. Lastly, the animations are nothing special. In just one cutscene it fluctuates from "Actually pretty good" to "They just gave up" (Sometimes in the same sentence!). Unfortunately, these character models were matched with inconsistent facial animation. Character models on the "important" NPCS looked good for what I'm assuming is a small development studio. GRAPHICS/PRESENTATION: The texture work in this game is quite good, water reflections were accurate to the environment around them. So, if you were looking for an exciting 3rd person ARPG ala Devil May Cry or Sekiro, you will be sorely disappointed. Even on Hard difficulty, I found myself not even close to death a single time. Just like in the Witcher, you can get by with spamming "light attack" and occasionally throwing in a dodge whenever an enemy gives the "I'm gonna hit you" 5-second wind-up animation. Problem with that is that the combat system in Witcher 3 isn't good. GAMEPLAY: The developers were obviously trying to replicate the Witcher 3's combat system and succeeded on some level. Beat the entire demo, took about 40 minutes for me.
